Get beautiful XF quality for far, far less than what BUs sell for! San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar outputs fell dramatically during the mid-1880s. This issue is the toughest find among the first six Morgan dollars of the esteemed San Francisco Mint. Our current price for a BU 1883-S Morgan is $1,495, but our two-step lower sharply detailed Extra Fine quality is much, much less.
Scarce 1885-S San Francisco Morgan Silver Dollar Extra Fine
San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar outputs fell dramatically during the mid-1880s. Today this 1885 S-mint Morgan is a tough find. Just 1.5 million were struck, compared to 17.8 million at Philadelphia. It’s not that much scarcer in mint-state quality than in Extra Fine quality, but our regular price for BU is $475, almost four times as much as our regular $125 price for XF quality. And now we’ve lowered that price for this offer.
