The U.S. Mint’s “America the Beautiful” quarters program will include 56 issues featuring designs commemorating national parks and other national sites. The first five 2010 quarters honor; Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Yosemite National Park in California, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona and Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon. The obverse engraving of George Washington will remain the same as that seen on Statehood quarters. We are offering these five new issues in pristine proof form. Encased in official U.S. Mint packaging, each features a mirror-like background and frosted deep-sculpted engravings.
