Over four hundred years ago, Galileo first observed our sky through an astronomical telescope. In 2009, the world celebrated that anniversary with the International Year of Astronomy. The Royal Australian Mint released this special commemorative pair including the "Stargazer" twenty cent piece, only available as part of this set. Shown is a map of the heavens with three silhouetted stargazers in the foreground. Also included is a "Five Kangaroo" dollar coin.
