The award- winning Pobjoy Mint, on behalf of the British Virgin Islands, honored her with this splendid issue. The reigning Monarch's Birthday has been celebrated since 1748, with a Trooping the Colour ceremony. Shown on the reverse of this Brilliant Uncirculated copper-nickel coin is Her Majesty riding side-saddle at one such ceremony (the Queen has attended in a carriage since 1987). A unique double effigy of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse.
