The big 20-coin 2006 U.S. mint set had a production of just 847,361 — the second lowest output since 1963. This was the final year that U.S. mint sets were packaged in clear cellophane enclosures. The 2007 and 2008 sets were the largest to that date and introduced impressive new protective U.S. Mint packaging that allows edge lettering to be viewed. Both newly packaged sets contain an impressive 28-coins including the first Presidential dollar coins. All three 2006, 2007 and 2008 sets also include Brilliant Uncirculated quality Sacagawea dollars, half dollars, Statehood quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. When you buy both the 2007 and 2008 sets, we’ll include the 2006 set FREE (a $35 value).
