The 1891-O New Orleans Morgan is a costly issue in elusive mint-state quality, retailing for $325. You pay just a fraction of that price for our clearly detailed Very Fine quality. The 1899-O New Orleans Mint issue costs the least of the three Morgans produced in that year, yet it’s still relatively scarce. Much larger supplies of some early O-Mint Morgan dates survive compared to these two specimens — other issues have as many as 20 times more remaining in this nice circulated quality. These clearly detailed Very Fine silver dollars passed through commerce over a hundred years ago.
