In 1923, hard-asset U.S. silver dollars were a benchmark of world currency (late in that year, just one could have been exchanged for an incredible four trillion German marks). Our set includes all three issuing mints for the date: Philadelphia (no mintmark), Denver ("D" mintmark) and San Francisco ("S"). Mintmarks appear to the left of the eagle's tail, below "ONE." Our nice Very Fine quality saw only light circulation. 38mm
