Anthony U.S. dollar coin didn't catch on in commerce in 1979-1981 and later in 1999. One reason was its shared metal content with the slightly smaller quarter. This set includes every issue in the series, but does not include the very scarce and costly 1979-S and 1981-S Type II varieties.
