This beautiful commemorative bears the first Tiffany & Co. hallmark on U.S. coins. The first lady’s portrait is modeled on Gilbert Stuart’s rendering; she courageously rescued one of his Washington portraits from a White House fire set by the British in 1814. She’s shown with her favorite Cape Jasmines and the classic icehouse at Montpelier, the Madison home in Virginia that appears on the reverse.
