Introduced in 1859, the Indian Princess design was meant to personify Liberty with a uniquely American flavor. The oak leaves and Union shield reverse originated in 1860, on the eve of the Civil War. These classic engravings outlasted the frontier era, as the final eleven dates brought the series into the 20th century. Our hand-selected Good quality passed through many hands in bygone America. We'll include a folder to protect and display each vintage coin.
