U.S. Morgan Silver Dollar 1879-S Certified MS-67 |
An MS-67 coin is in the truly spectacular range of fiery luster and near-perfect surfaces. Coins of this quality were among the very first to be struck by fresh dies. Although the 1879-S San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar is regarded as among the best-struck issues in the long series, only the tiniest proportion of mint-state specimens exist in eye-popping MS-67 quality. Safeguarded in a transparent "slab" with grading certified by PCGS or NGC. 38.1mm Certified coins should never be removed from their cases and cannot be returned once removed.

Should Be Graded Proof Like! |
| I had one of these rare specimens. Honestly, mine seemed to be in even better condition-for that reason I would NOT recommend trying to re-grade,though I must say this specimen rivaled mine in its Proof Like Mirror Finish! Mine was graded as a Proof Like MS-67-a designation Id argue this one might deserve! |
