After the first five San Francisco Mint Morgan issues of 1878-1882, S-mintmark BUs become really tough to find. The 1890-S San Francisco Mint issue is at the most affordable level of S-Mint Morgan BUs in the 1883-1904 span. "S" Morgans from these years typically cost several hundred and even thousands of dollars. Perhaps 1% of the comparatively limited 1890-S Morgan dollar production may survive today in mint-state quality. Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality has nice original luster and no sign of wear (some bags marks are present, as is normal).
