The 1891-O New Orleans Morgan is a tough find in Uncirculated quality. Just 7.9 million were minted and it's estimated that less than 50,000 may survive today in mint-state quality. By contrast, up to four million of some earlier San Francisco Mint Morgan dates are estimated to be extant in Uncirculated quality. Many 1891-O issues were originally held in reserve at banks and the mint. Only a tiny percentage
survived the tremendous government melts during the world wars.Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality has nice original luster and no sign of wear (some bags marks are present, as is normal).
