As production in this small Nevada mint scaled down (much less silver than earlier was then being mined at the nearby Comstock Lode), its 1,352,000 mintage was the lowest Carson City Morgan dollar output since 1889. It's estimated that as few as 70,000 may survive in our nicely detailed Very Fine quality or higher grades. The only scarcer 1890s Carson City Morgan dollar is the final 1893-CC issue.
