U.S. Morgan Silver Dollar 1900-P Very Fine |
Echoes of centennial celebrations were still in the air when the first 1900 Morgan silver dollars emerged from the principal Philadelphia Mint. The no-mintmark 1900 Morgan dollar's production was far below the late-1880's Philadelphia outputs. And today it's estimated that up to four times as many of individual 1880s issues survive than the 1900 Morgan in the nicely detailed Very Fine quality we offer or higher grades. Huge numbers were lost in 20th century U.S. government melts.
Diameter 38.1mm, Weight 26.73 grams, Composition .900 silver
