Coinage from the ancient Greek city state of Sicyon most commonly depicts images of a dove and chimaera. This beautiful silver hemidrachm features a graceful dove in flight, symbolizing spirit and renewal. The reverse side presents a fierce Chimaera, a fire-breathing mythological creature part lion, goat and serpent.
