U.S. 2002 Silver Eagle Uncirculated
This largest silver dollar in U.S. history, originally issued in 1986,
contains a full troy ounce of .999 fine investment grade silver.
Mintages for this popular coin have been on the rise and production
numbers for these three earlier issue are lower than more recent
outputs. The magnificent “Walking Liberty” image first appeared
on the 1916 U.S. half dollar during World War I. That design, often
regarded as the finest U.S. silver engraving, is much larger and more
impressive in this big silver dollar form.
