U.S. Morgan Silver Dollars 1896, 97 & 98 Philadelphia Brilliant Uncirculated
Most of the key rarities in the Morgan silver dollar series are from the 1890's, when mintages plummeted after the repeal of the Silver Purchase Act in 1893. Even when Morgan mintages began to rise again in the late 1890's, they remained relatively low compared to earlier decades. Today three late-1890's Philadelphia Mint Morgan issues stand out as best buys from "the rare decade": 1896, 1897 and 1898. Each Brilliant Uncirculated silver dollar in this three coin set has nice original luster and absolutely no sign of wear (some bag marks will be present, as is normal).
