The U.S. Mint has not produced the Kennedy half dollar for circulation since 2002. The popular coin has only been minted in limited numbers for sale directly to collectors. Current Brilliant Uncirculated Kennedy half dollar mintages have fallen to just a tiny fraction of previous outputs. In 2008 just 1.7 million were issued respectively by the Philadelphia (P mintmark) and Denver (D) facilities, compared to an average of 215 million in 1964 and 21 million in 2000. Our set includes both 2010 P and D Brilliant Uncirculated issues.
