U.S. 2009 “Extra Large” Silver Proof Set:
Unlike the regular 2009 U.S. proof set, this set features eight 90% silver issues: the six Washington D.C. and Territory quarters plus the Roosevelt dime and Kennedy half dollar. Also included are four redesigned cents celebrating the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth composed of an alloy matching the original 1909 Lincoln cent. The four yearly Presidential dollars, a Jefferson nickel and Native American dollar round out the largest-ever U.S. proof set. Silver proof set mintages are always far below the regular proof set’s production.
