This 90% silver
half dollar was struck to commemorate the 300th anniversary of
the first white settlement on Long Island. Shown are a Dutch setler
and a Native American in profile. The reverse features a Dutch
sailing vessel with wind in its sails. Just 81,826 of these coins
were produced over eight decades ago. Our impressive Brilliant
Uncirculated quality specimens feature wonderful detail and luster
and are now on sale.
