SAVE on the 1892 Low-Mintage Morgan Trio!
In 1892, just 1.0 million Morgans were issued by the principal Philadelphia Mint, whose outputs had averaged over 20 million per year in 1887-1889 and over 9 million in 1890-1891.
Today, while at least 97,000 of this issue are estimated to survive in mint-state quality, perhaps as few as 25,000 exist in nice circulated quality, Very Fine or better. For this offer, we’re cutting our regular $49 price for VF quality to just $39.
Another relative scarcity for the date is the 1892-O Morgan,
whose 2.7 million mintage was the lowest New Orleans Mint output
in the series up to that date. It’s estimated that as few as 135,000 of this issue may survive in Very Fine quality or higher grades. Some earlier issues in the Morgan series may be up to 20 times as plentiful in VF or higher condition. We’re trimming our regular $45 price for VF quality to merely $35.
The scarcest issue we’re offering by far is the 1892-S San Francisco Morgan dollar. A silver dollar encyclopedia estimates that as little as 16,000 exist of the 1892-S Morgan in the Very Fine quality we’re offering or higher grades. Given its extreme scarcity, the 1892-S Morgan is reasonably affordable in Very Fine quality. We’re cutting our regular $275 to just $225.
For the most savings, buy the complete 1892 Philadelphia, 1892-O New Orleans and 1892-S San Francisco trio for only $289.
